Its feeding in a yard up toward Errol. The guy feeding has pics of his rack, humongus! They say he is pushing 260-280(imagine what he would weigh right before the rut??) I havent seen it, but my stepdad has seen him quite a bit. Problem is, everyone know about him, he's an attraction up here!! State record is 284lbs, will that disappear next season? Stay tuned.....

No doubt, Quilly. I get so sick of everybody around here bragging about the "state record" that they saw on a square of land. What do they think...that everybody will stay away from there hoping that the other guy gets it??? I don't think so..........

Not that that buck will be anywhere near the yarding area come deer season. That bucks biggest danger is some redneck in the next few weeks coming and popping him. Come spring he will travel back to his stomping grounds. Come next fall, he more than likely will be miles away. I hope somebody gets him, but it won't be a hunter hunting in the immediate area of where he is now... DLuke

Well, Im not one of those secretive hunters. I wouls love to see someone get it. Also its no secret. It feeds right off to the side of route 16. Ive been told he towers over all the others and keeps his distance from them. I doubt poachers will be a prob because the old man is always there.
