OK How about three places, North - Central - South. I can put two hunters on some good hunting land, up here in the North. NJBOWMAN Votes for Assunpink, and BACS22 Seconds it. Now we to pick North and South. I would have to vote for Delware-River Gap ( needs permit ).

well we would have to get everyone into a decent area, not just a couple. I'm ok with Assunpink as long as someone knows the land and we can have a safe well planed hunt that will include everyone. As far as the season goes ,I still think muzzy is best but I'm flexible. What zone and county is Assunpink in?
I'm almost positive that it's Zone 15

What about assunpink WMA in central NJ. It opens early season and has a great population of deer. It has everything from hardwoods, swamps, hedgerows and farm crops.
The area where we hold our 3-D shoots has a port a john and is in the heart of the wma. Could be a great time.
Assunpink is in the middle of the state and has over 12,000 acres. I second NJBowman's idea.

Also, I'd like to see it for early bow season.
I mis-spoke, Assunpink has over 6,000 acres, Colliers Mills has over 12,000 acreas.

I still vote for Bow at Assunpink.

I'm for an early season bowhunt at Assunpink. Try to get a doe out of the way in a hurry!

Any Saturday in September works for me, including the 11th.
