I live in a neighborhood that is too close for comfort to be shooting my bow. I looked into possibly joining the Isaac Walton League, but the local ones I've called have no archery ranges (the one in Bel Air has a monthly 3-D shoot only). I'm also aware of a place in Churchville that has a nice 3-D range, but it's pretty expensive.
Does anybody know of a place near Bel Air, MD where I can shoot my bow for little or no cost?
Thanks in advance.

Check with Dave H on this board , he lives outside Churchville and does archery, he can point you in the proper direction, aside from tht he is one terrific guy, he and Janet have hosted us at the Northeast get together for the past 2 years. Dave is a Deputy Sheriff for Harford County......

Jimbo--I'm not too far from Bel Air and I would welcome the company when I'm practicing at home. Shoot me an e-mail -- I have a number of suggestions, including my place.

Jimbo,
There is a public area in the Days Cove/Hammerman area of the gunpowder state park off of Ebenezer Rd. There are severel lanes set up at different ranges. You have to bring your own target.
