Default SERIOUSLY GUYS

Haha, I know that most of you guys thought that this would be ANOTHER Alt discussion, but it isn't. I want to know when the bucks in the South Western part of Pennsylvania will start dropping antlers, seriously? I can't find any, I figured they would have dropped them by now, but I have spend the past two weekends searching. I looked along WELL used fence rows, around streams that deer jump across, and the best area which is probablly the most thick brush in the state that is ENTIRELY FULL of beds and rubs. The deers antlers would definetly get knocked loose if they were moving in there. I havn't found any and I have been searching VERY hard. Does anybody know when they will drop or what will cause them to drop? Also, are there any other areas that are good for finding sheds?

Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)

I live in northeast PA I have not seen sny with horns still on lately so maybe ours have fallen off maybe this mild weather we have had this winter has something to do with it <img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

HMMMM not an Alt discussion lets see about that one. Maybe the deer found out about Alt's plan about bigger bucks and are going to keep there antlers so they will be bigger next year and just add to them LOL just a joke.

But I would feel that this nutty weather has a lot to do with it.

I picked up a set of Y sheds and a left side 5 pt just yesterday in my cut cornfield behind the house while walking the dog. I see 25-30 deer in that field every night and 3 more had racks untill lastnight for sure

You could always build an antler trap.

I haven't seen any sheds yet either...but I have seen two bucks with their racks still intact in the last three days.

I would think later this month going into March might be more productive for you.

I saw a small buck with a Y on one side this weekend. My folks saw two nice bucks feeding on Thursday....both still had their racks intact.
