When I read an article about a black bear shot and stumbled out of the woods. Then died on the side of the road I thought this will not be good for hunting in NJ.
Read the following article and tell me what you think.

It would sure warm my heart if the other hunters in the area who know Steven Meyer personally "thanked" him for helping their cause. I hope he gets "thanked" repeatedly. Scumbag.

We are own worst enemies sometimes.
Add these to this story. So far this year I've seen:
1) 2 guys hacksawing off a roadkilled Bucks antlers in broad daylight infront of hundreds of passing commuters.
2) Drove behind a hunter returning from the opening day of antlerless season with a dead doe in the bed of his pick up. This pick up had no tailgate and the deers face was looking directly out the back of the truck, towards anyone who drove up behind him.
Lets use some common sense people. Be discreet.

Not only is this guy a moron but the way the story was told by the NJ media says alot. According to the news reports: The bear was seen by witnesses staggering out of the woods and dying on the side of Rt 23. So not only is the story told by this "hunter" a lie but the media lied to sensationalize the situation. If that bear was killed by a car, nobody saw it stagger out of the woods. Man I hate this BS
BTW - merry Christmas.
