PABowhntr,
I have a DMAP for the Promised Land and was wondering what area would you hunt in for doe??
Next year I plan on scouting more but the weather has not been helpful this week.

Tomster,
That was my first time hunting the area. We stayed in a cabin on Promised Land State Park though we hunted a small section of Delaware state forest...north of I-84 if I remember correctly...right off of 402. I can give you directions if you like. My brother-in-law and father-in-law have hunted the PL area several times and have good things to say about the area south of the lower lake. I can get more details in that regard if you like.

PABowhntr,
Yes, any information you might attain about the area would be very helpful. I don't live far from PL, probably about 1/2 hour but I tend to hunt nearer to home Gouldsboro and Lake Ariel. I wanted to try another area and felt the PL would be a good place to start. If I don't get over there during rifle, I hope I can make it during late muzzleloader. That will depend upon the amount of snow we get before than. Last year we had 2 feet on Christmas day and it really slowed down deer movement plus mine.
Thank you again for any info you may provide.

i hunted in greene county (area 2a) there was a lot of shooting but i didn't see alot of deer being dragged out except for the doe i shot and the guy parked next to me got a nice 8 pointer ,i didn't see any buck at all only saw 7 does one of which now resides in my freezer , i'm debating weather to wait for late archery or go back out with the rifle for a buck ! i may wait because not too many people are seeing bucks and the few i have seen taken weren't that big !
