All you need to do is apply for an industrial forest permit(the app. is in the DE hunt guide): they are good for 5 years unless you change address. All othe normal state hunting rules apply. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that you a req' d to hunt at least 50 feet from private land boundries. I have hunted on IND. land in Delmar area and they are loaded with deer and some HUGE bucks.

Good hunting!

Go to the DNRC office in Dover an get your permit, they have maps of all the state and IND. lands..most of them are in sussex county. I' m telling you these areas are great, I was part of a club in Delmar that butted up against one...boy we had some huge deer come off there when the lead started to fly. I would still hunt them but got my own lease now.

Good luck

' Using' your new gun. Sorry for the spelling. I though you were using a new gun this year. Maybe I got you mixed up with someone else.

Making a day of it tomorrow. Only taking a break to drop some goose decoys off at our pit. Looks like a nice day. I got the bug spray and suntan lotion for the afternoon! Unbelievable weather. [:' (]

Good Luck everyone.

Well, thus ends the 1st week of shotgun. I didnt make it past the AM hunt. I havent been feeling well and with the warm weather and fly swating, I felt by 10am I didnt need to be hunting anymore. I saw no deer and heard 1 shot at 1st light. All was quiet besides. I poked around the farm and didnt see ANY sign a deer had been near the place since the last rain. Im coming to grips with the fact that this year may go deerless. Im NOT giving up, but it gets tough here on out.

RonM, on the way back from dropping off my goose decoys, I saw truck full of guys pull up in a Pick up by your place looking like they were getting ready for a drive. I was going to fast to see if you were amongst them. If you were, any luck? I wouldnt wanted to be a pusher today. Way to warm for that sh@t!

Im goose hunting next week mostly, on vaca till the 28th, but I may take the bow out for some fresh air. I wasnt shooting the best tonight for practice, but good enough if they get within 25 yds. With gun season so close behind, it' s probably a waste of time, but its better than sitting home, drinking cold beer and watching sports on TV.... or is it....

Good luck to everyone on the next gun season if you were like me and failed to score.

God Bless!
