Default Schuylkill Co. 10pt (Pic)

This 10 pointer was aged at 2.5 years old. He was shot by my buddy a few years back near Pitman, PA. Schuylkill County farmland. It looks like the potential is there for some big bucks.....in PA.

It' s farm land. I always call him the night after opening day to talk about what we got that day. He' s always got something big. An 8-pointer with a 20 inch spread and tall tines is a ho-hum buck down there. I could hunt down there too but I' d miss out on our deer camp with family and friends. Plus, when I finally get that monster, I want it to be out of our camp. It would mean more. They get most of those big bucks putting on big drives. Not my favorite way to hunt. I usually go for drives closer to the end of the season.

The real purpose of the post was to show that PA can produce some big bucks. I think some other states think of us as the spike and basket rack state but that' s just a lot of hog wash
