This 10 pointer was aged at 2.5 years old. He was shot by my buddy a few years back near Pitman, PA. Schuylkill County farmland. It looks like the potential is there for some big bucks.....in PA.

Must have been some good feed around for that kind of rack in 2 1/2 years. Nice buck!

It' s farm land. I always call him the night after opening day to talk about what we got that day. He' s always got something big. An 8-pointer with a 20 inch spread and tall tines is a ho-hum buck down there. I could hunt down there too but I' d miss out on our deer camp with family and friends. Plus, when I finally get that monster, I want it to be out of our camp. It would mean more. They get most of those big bucks putting on big drives. Not my favorite way to hunt. I usually go for drives closer to the end of the season.

The real purpose of the post was to show that PA can produce some big bucks. I think some other states think of us as the spike and basket rack state but that' s just a lot of hog wash
