Delaware has just past Law for Sunday Hunting. But just for 5 days
DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife announces 2016/17 Sunday deer hunting dates;
seeks public comment on state wildlife area Sunday deer hunting locations, times
DOVER (Aug. 23, 2016) – With a recent change in Delaware law, deer hunting is allowed on five specified Sundays on private lands and on designated public lands beginning with the 2016/2017 hunting season, DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife announced today. Sunday deer hunting dates for the upcoming season will be Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and 20, Dec. 11 this year, and Jan. 15, 2017.
Under the law, Sunday deer hunting on these dates on private lands is allowed during regular hunting hours at the discretion of the landowner, while government agencies, including the Division of Fish & Wildlife, can designate public lands open for Sunday deer hunting on the dates listed above after seeking public comment.
Sunday deer hunting is proposed on specified state wildlife areas at locations as shown by maps found on the Fish & Wildlife website. Sunday deer hunting is proposed on these wildlife areas during the regular hunting hours of one-half hour before sunrise until one-half hour after sunset. Copies of the wildlife area maps where Sunday deer hunting is proposed and additional information can be requested by calling the Wildlife Section at 302-739-9912.
The Division of Fish & Wildlife now asks for public comment on Sunday deer hunting locations and times on state wildlife areas. Written public comment can be mailed to Karen Kennedy, Wildlife Section, Division of Fish & Wildlife, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901, or emailed to [email protected]. All written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. (DNREC close of business) on Friday, Aug. 26, 2016.
Oral comments will be received and written comments reviewed at the Advisory Council on Wildlife and Freshwater Fish meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30 in DNREC’s auditorium at the Richardson & Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901.

It's a step in the right direction, but it's nowehre near enough.
The Sunday public land options are extremely limited. Portions (less than half on some) of only 7 wildlife areas are open. http://www.dnrec.delaware.gov/fw/Pag...r-hunting.aspx
It's also only for 5 Sundays during popular gun deer seasons.

I thought the samething into i found out tonight if you click on were it says New Castle County overview that is a map of all new castle county showing all the other wildlife areas that are open. You can do the same for kent and sussex county. So it looks like all the Wildlife tracts will be open to the 5 day sunday hunting. The areas that will not be open for sunday hunting will be all state parks, state forest lands and federal game lands.

Oh, I see now. The maps of specific wildlife areas are only for the ones that are partially closed.
It's still disappointing they're closing the Petersburg tract of NGW to Sunday hunting. That's a big patch of woods with a great trail network.
