Check this. Call the DE DNR, they will be best able to answer your questions all at one time.

Hey man that is very kind of you to help that young lady out and not giving her the riot act... You are one heck of nice guy... This world will be a better place with more people like you that are willing to help people that are new to a hunting area... My hats off to you my good man...

Put your hat back on. Here is a new person who ask a reasonable question. You on the other hand were to lazy to read the digest that came with your license. I have little tolerance for lazy people. I have dealt with far too many of them. When you have ther answer in hand, it is stupid to ask someone else for it because they may be wrong.

Ladyhunter- I've only hunted private property in Delaware, but I think if you narrow it down to the public spot you have in mind and do a Google search, you should get your answer.

Unfortunately, something came up and I had to fly to GA to help out a friend, so I wasn't able to hunt the Nov. season. But I plan on participating in the January whitetail hunt. I am also going to apply to be a volunteer at the Prime Hook NWR on Monday! Thanks for the input.

There are Many good places to hunt in Delaware that are on Public Land. However you have to scout to find the hot spots, Delaware does not have a good archery Force so early season is great time to have your most success. I am up in New Castle County and mostly do my hunting up this way.
