Default NYS hunter with question

I hunt Tioga and Chemung couties most of the time.My question is how is the acorn crop in your area?I've noticed that the acorn crop is down this year and the acorns I do see are smaller than usual.Where I hunt it's all woods with no farms for miles mostly. So acorns seem to be there main food supply.

Acorn's are hit and miss on our property in Steuben County. The trees that do have acorns are loaded. I would say the overall crop is better that last year.
