do to lack of deer in pa do to doe slaughter i said,GUYS I WILL GO ALONG WITH SUNDAY HUNTING IF IT IS ONLY FOR BUCK.
no doe killing .
Sure, why not? But, probably a pipe dream. The state believes we have too little habitat to support the deer population, which is why they give out so many doe tags, and I doubt they are going to change this line of thinking. But sure, I'd go along with this, I'd like to be able to hunt turkey and small game on Sunday as well.

The State already "Changed their line of thinking". Some of the northern areas have been reduced to one week of doe hunting. I don't know if the amount of tags was dropped for those areas or not.

There would be no sunday hunting issues expressed if it were not for the greedy hunters that went ape$%!t when Hr started,,,The hunters that went out and bought up every tag they were able to get their hands on and then commenced with slaughtering every deer they laid their eyes on are the ones at fault with ruining the tradition of hunting in Pa. And i would imagine that those same guys are the ones opposing sunday hunting now and starting these rediculous threads on hunting forums across the web. I for one am extremely horrified by the idea that im told that I can not hunt on Sunday for any reason,,,I am a 45 year old adult that has worked and paid my fair share of taxes my whole life, and i can find not 1 good reason that if I so desire to go out on my own land,,or someone elses land that i have permission to hunt on, and take a deer that somehow it may be wrong. To be honest,,,,there would be very few sundays that i would hunt because im too busy butchering the deer that I shot earlier in the week,,,but it still bothers me that because a few hunters(the greedy) could not put limitations on themselves and destroyed the very future of hunting in Pa. that i also have to pay the price!
Im of the opinion if you dont want to hunt on sunday,,,dont do it,,,,but dont also restrict me from hunting because you have some convaluted ideal of what i should be doing!
Well said rem700.

It's not going to happen. Fortunately, the greed behind this effort is seen.

SUNDAY HUNTING is not going to fly.
rep evans/rep stabick made statement they are sorry they even brought it .
so sorry THAT BOTH ARE RETIRING .
dont laugh,THEY HAD ENOUGH OF US HUNTERS THAT DONT WANT IT.

here is their comment.I NEVER THOUGHT WHEN IT CAME TO PUSH/SHOVE THAT ONES THAT WANTED IT DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP AT MEETINGS.
but ones against did.

dont surprise me,most hunters are HOT AIR ,afraid to attend meeting and speak.

I DO and most times if 15 people are there ,ITS CROWD.
lets work together now and find ways to bring deer back in wmu2g NOT shoot more does off with more hunting days to do it.

lets wake up, NO DEER=NO HUNTING.

I for 1 am so tired of the no deer mantra. Do I like everything the PGC does not a chance but I dont sit and pee and moan about it. Get out and hunt there are deer here . Yes even in 2G. Take a long hard look at whats growing for food. If there is none then by rights there shouldnt be that many deer. Face the facts all the compliaing and internet whining isnt going to do anything. In areas of good habitat the deer numbers are coming back. Yet people still want to complain no matter what.
