Default Hey Sproul

I remember you mentioning seeing pictures of mentored youth hunters in sneakers. I gotta tell you that my kid hunted in sneakers on Saturday. It was 75 degrees and we were in a pop-up blind so he just wore sneakers.

I wish we would have gotten a deer so we could have pictures of him with his kill....wearing sneakers.

Ok, Ok. I'll admit that's a different scenario.

Another thing I'll put out there. My kid hates wearing boots. He can never find a pair that fits him right. So, he changes back into sneakers as soon as he gets home. A lot of pictures are after he changes.

Anyway, the kind of guy that would use his kid to shoot another deer is not capable of harvesting a 12 point. I'd have more confidence in the kid.

We saw 19 deer on Saturday but none in range. My buddy got one on the edge of the same field and we saw the whole thing. We're heading out again this Saturday. Boots this time because of all the wet weather.

Hey! Easy with that pink stuff. I wear a pair of pink Crocs around camp when I get back from a day of hunting. The price was right on them, but it could have been the color that influenced the price.

My boy got a deer on Saturday. No sneakers. Snow boots actually. He likes them because he can just slip them on and off.
