I remember you mentioning seeing pictures of mentored youth hunters in sneakers. I gotta tell you that my kid hunted in sneakers on Saturday. It was 75 degrees and we were in a pop-up blind so he just wore sneakers.
I wish we would have gotten a deer so we could have pictures of him with his kill....wearing sneakers.

never forget the day me and my dad were at clydes sport shop in baltimore and we walked in and the guy behind the counter was talking to a few people and he leaned over and said to my dad hey bud you aint never going to kill deer wearing sneakers, lol well come to find out were were there checking in my dads bow kill that he just shot hours before wearing them same shoes , it scores over 130 and weighed 188lbs lol

32 degrees with high winds,6 year old with sneakers on and 12 point.

Another thing I'll put out there. My kid hates wearing boots. He can never find a pair that fits him right. So, he changes back into sneakers as soon as he gets home. A lot of pictures are after he changes.
Anyway, the kind of guy that would use his kid to shoot another deer is not capable of harvesting a 12 point. I'd have more confidence in the kid.

We saw 19 deer on Saturday but none in range. My buddy got one on the edge of the same field and we saw the whole thing. We're heading out again this Saturday. Boots this time because of all the wet weather.
