I think it safe to say we couldnt have relied on the contraception supporting, antideer, pro-trillium, global warming believing, unnatural excessive levels of biodiversity wanting commission.

Man those guys are E-X-T-R-E-M-E. My god man, our forefathers are probably rolling in their graves. My biggest concern would not be fixing the deer program. Thats a HUGE one and probably the 2nd biggest currently. But the biggest is having someone do something about that pgc staff! If they get a fee increase because of changes or no changes, isnt gonna make much difference. They arent gonna abandon the ecoextreme-mission, and will get right back to business of undermining us. These people cannot be trusted. They will revert right back to deer decimation and hunter ignoring, and then bide their time for the next decade seeking alternate funding etc. and every other means possible to make their dream reality. They are ecoextremists, and for all i know they could even be in bed with the antis. As hatefilled as they are toward hunters and all these new and bizarre antihunting & borderline policies....

They need to GO. We should be sick and tired of having to pull the knife out of our back every time we turn around.

"The general public is relatively naive about how the whole system works," he said.
"There's a large percentage of people who don't realize what the Game Commission and Fish and Boat Commission actually do,"

Man, truer words couldn't have been spoken. So sad.... but so very true.
And I don't mean just the USP club, there are many others.

As for the GAME commission, I agree 100% about many, if not most, not being aware of the details & particulars. And its a good thing for pgc that they dont. There are a ton of people/hunters who have no idea the role that special interest groups are playing, no idea how obtuse the goals are, no idea pgc supports some of the things they support, they dont follow this stuff nor know exactly how extreme pgcs views are and why. If they did, there is absolutely no doubt pgc would not exist exactly as it is today, changes wouldve been demanded, and the resultant actions would be far harsher than simply preventing a fee increase for a while.

But unfortunately for pgc as each year goes by, more and more are finding out exactly what pgcs all about.

HA! No doubt about it. Even some of our HGFC members know/knew very little about some of the studies and the obvious back door dealings that went on. It's so rewarding to enlighten them. Also, educating the general hunting populace on ways of expressing their pleasure/displeasure and who and how to express those ideas to is getting out there. Here in Tioga County, I know of 6 individuals that have pre-printed cards with BOC and HGFC member telephone numbers, email and snailmail addresses printed on them that are being handed out to hunters. I know one guy that is actually checking camps and rosters and leaving a card tacked to the camp. So, the word is getting out and our leaders are hearing from more hunters then ever before.
