That's it? You have a buck that traveled 1.12 miles? Well good for you. You have a buck on "flim" that traveled 1.12 miles in search of some poon-tang. You are the Marlin Perkins of the deer kingdom.
All jokes aside I think this was fairly substantial. He traveled at least 1.12 miles in under 1.5 hrs. In actuality, he probably traveled at least 2 miles in that timespan. This is in an overpopulated area, and happened on nov 24, after the peak of the rut. What I was trying to say was there's a long window of time where they run themselves ragged. And just because theres a lot of deer, don't automatically assume they're not puttin on a lot of miles.

You aren't a man that really stands behind his convictions are ya now?
HAH, well you got me there.

How far do you think a buck can run in an hour without breaking a sweat? How far would you run for a sweet young honey in an hour if you thought you had a chance of scoring a hit? Would you consider that run to be undue stress that would stunt your growth?

That has nothing to do with Glews point that certain buck will run themselves ragged even when there is an abundance of does and the post made earlier that our bucks are running themselves down because ther're no doe doesnt hold much water.

Your post is little more than gibberish that makes no sense. there is nothing in any of the PGC reports or studies that point to the fact that our bucks are unhealthy or stressed by the stress of breeding,

You're so closed minded it cracks me up. I love how you rely on PGC data as if its the constitution when it supports your point. Yet, when they suggest 5c can support 6 dpsm, you counter and say "well when you factor in the msy of the cc, multiply that by you're an idiot, square the results, and divide by provide data to prove me wrong"....and walla, valley forge can hold 200 dpsm.

So which is it, is the PGC always right, or is the PGC only right when it supports your point?

There was a suggestion made that bucks will travel alot more when there is a lower deer density. I am not aware of any data backing that up...and I just wanted to share my experience showing that just because you have a ton of deer, it dosen't mean they don't still travel considerable distances.

My post makes perfect sense in the context of Glew's responding to a post on here on the subject, not a PGC report. Perhaps you could save yourself some embarrassment by taking a minute to read the threads before you spout your own gibberish

The PGC is right when the PGC data supports the PGC position. but , the PGC data does not support their claims regarding breeding rates and productivity. but, you are smart enough access that data so you don't know what you are talking about
