anybody noticing the rut yet? big boys chasing? for me it doesn't seem like ive found alot of scrapes compared to years past, more rubs though this year. anybody noticing the same thing in massachusetts? this should be a good week with the cold weather, saturday was pitiful near 70.

i think it should start near the end of this week here in western mass if we get some cold nights

Not exactly sure but its right around the corner. Been getting more and more pictures of big boys running around during shooting hours.

I've seen a bunch of doe's around my house and around town but no buck chasing yet. I live in WMass

Had buck chasing does behind my stand this morning. Other guys I know took 3 bucks, all were chasing does. Get out there!

A buddy of ours had a buck chasing a doe early this morning but he never got a shot opportunity. He went back to the same set tonight and sure enough here comes that same buck from this morning hot on the heels of a doe again. He took a ride to the check station.
