Default Wild Boar in New York?

A co-worker stopped by my room this AM to tell me that she saw and photographed what appeared to be a black wild boar in the Deer River Flow area of Northern New York State. I haven' t seen the photos yet but what she described sounds like the real thing!

Any thoughts on this?

I know someone that saw a small group of wild pigs-boar last summer cross the road in front of him. They were seen by other locals. I know of a few places that offer fenced in boar hunts in NY. I' m guessing that some escaped!

I think it was bigfoots live stock. They probably got loose, watch closely in the same spot and you should see bigfoot chasing them back to his farm way back in the deep dark woods. []

My brother saw one a couple years ago. We all thought he was nuts, then we found out some escaped from a farm. The DEC does NOT want them and told people to shoot it if they saw it. This was according to the newspaper, it was shot by a farmer who called DEC after seeing it.

Time for a hog roast

Along time ago in the cooperstown area(base ball hall of fame) There was a hunter that was chased out of the woods by a buffalo. He was hunting for deer or turkey and had fallen asleep. He was woke up by something licking at the side of his face[] Well when he gathered his thoughts and realized he was being kissed by a buffalo he almost sh** himself and ran like lighting. They did end up catching the buffalo and returned him to the zoo. Nothing like a BIG SLOPPY KISS FROM A BUFFALO..........[X(][]
