Default VT archery question

Im confused with the Vermont archery tags. Can you take a buck and a doe? or 2 doe? Or just one deer buck or doe? Do you need to purchase an xtra archery tag for 2 bux in order to shoot 2 deer?

Yes you can take 2 deer with archery but need the 2 tags, 2 bucks, buck and doe or two doe. You are allowed 3 deer per year, but only 2 bucks.

You can kill two deer during archer season, but one MUST be a doe.
Two does or one buck and one doe. After checking first deer, a second tag may be purchased. If first deer is a doe, second must be a doe or a buck. If first deer was a buck, second deer MUST be a doe. dd
