I have no idea if JS is or ever was a member of the USP. However , I don't know of any hunting organization that would pay one of it's members to be a consultant.

Whens the last time you saw any state anywhere "demonized" in magazines? Having said that, Id say comparatively pgc has had far more "bad" press than anywhere else in the nation, by articles frequently speaking of low hunter satisfaction, and nationally known "deer wars".

Try watching for bits on PA in North American hunter, Deer and Deer Hunting, American Hunter, Outdoor life, Field and Stream, Sports afield, Bowhunter, Bowhunting world. Oh and it runs about 50/50 in Pa outdoor news in spite of the heavy USP influence there.
