First off, I'll admit I don't know how true this is.


I was up to see the PA elk herd over the weekend and over heard a guy talking to another about it.

I heard that the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will be parting ways with the PGC. Apparently, they are not happy with the way the PGC is doing things and will make a public announcement about their decision to part ways.

I did hear, last year, that the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation was a bit dissappointed about how the PGC handled the Governor's elk tag deal. The PGC gave it to the National Wild Turkey Federation to auction off and totally ignored the RMEF.

After everything the RMEF did to help the PGC with PA's elk and to get a slap in the face like that, it's no wonder they are done with them.

As I stated before, I am not sure if this is true or not. It's just a rumor I overheard. It wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be true.

I would think they would be pissed. However Is not the 3 rivers chapter of REMF in the top 5 (?) fund raisers for the foundation. If that is so they should watch how much they complain. But yeah, I don't understand that logic of giving it to the WTF.

Why does the PGC feel so inclined to drive away every last one of their supporters. I even heard they took BTB and Doug off the Christmas card list this year...WHAT were they thinking?

LOL...... I'll have to wait till Christmas to confirm but I got my birthday card right on time with my very own autographed Gary Alt more and bigger bucks poster !!!
