lol.
Perhaps they can each get 1/8th of one dmap permit.
Deer management is supposed to prevent excessive human conflicts. Not erase them completely. A nice thought but not reasonable. Especially when speaking of micromanaging to the nearest acre. lol.
Pgc said they arent gonna micromanage, and if we have to live with huge wmus, blanket management and less deer than need be, then dammit, those jokers with an acre and whining about less deer can go straight to hell imho! lol.

I'll take the public access land anytime vs. the private land. You don't have to ask permission (not that I wouldn't) but when you have the state forest and federal lands yet to hunt on, why waste looking for private land to hunt or pay a lease for. I can't afford a lease or buy into a camp/lodge and I've taken many deer on the public lands over the years. My best, was my first buck I ever killed, a big 9-point. Yeah, PA has issues, but it has public lands open to hunting and if I have to pay extra to keep seeing lands being added to that list vs. a new housing developments going into forested of farmlands, I guess you can figure where I will spend my money. I do think if you don't have a hunting license in your possession, you should have to buy a permit equal to the hunting license value to use those lands for any other use.

Bought my 09 license yesterday. Has anyone else noticed all the crossbow ads? 4 out of the first 7 advertisements for products or stores consisted of crossbow ads. The very first inside cover (page 2) and page 4 are whole page ads, these are the first 2 ads in the hunting digest. Hmmm, reason for xbows being legalized are looking less like a management decision and more like a money making one. But I guess that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who has seen the directionthe PAGC'smanagement of wildlife has taken us.

I didn't like the changes in the small regulation books that used to fit in with your license, now it to looks like a Cabalas catalog with more adds than regs. I guess the search for dollars has no limits.[:@]

Forget the adds, go to the link and look at up to 147 chapters ofgame laws. They got you coming and going. That little digest will get you in more problems than not if you try to recite it to the PGC. Take a gander
