would you be willingto agree not to try and pull every single unrelated thread into the deer wars?
That would depend on who gets to determine what constitutes an unrelated thread. It would also require that everyone else would have to agree not to insert comments about deer management in unrelated threads.
It's like arguing with a woman, BTB....never a straight answer, just more diversion and indignant talk.
Well said Pawildman!

At least with a woman, you mostly only get that stuff one week a month!

It is truly amazing how you and Livbuck drag so many threads to this low level of discourse and then complain about others posting facts on deer management.

I answered your question and you respond with another insult!

The boys and I went out to clear a few fallen trees and some greenbrier from a sunny patch in our woods where we're going to try a small food plot this season.

We had gone out Wednesday and set a trailcam up on the spot and I guess we picked a good one. 60 pics with deer in em since Wednesday afternoon. Many of the pics have multiple deer. Several were young bucks.

Very happy with the new trailcam too and it was a cheapie! Timberview two pack from D I C K S. 99 bucks for two of em!

Got a whole cord from those downed trees! What a great day in PA

Why would you clear the greenbrier? It is a much better food source than any food plot.

I've watched deer directly below my stand eating thorny rose. They will even eat the soft ends of stems. Never figured that out. I bleed if I'm within sight of that stuff..

Deer seem to love anything thorny. I've even seen them eating the thorns off devils club.

BTB....You said several pics you got had small bucks in them. Were they still carrying headgear? The reason I ask is because yesterday my wife saw a spike in our yard. She was shocked to see horns this time of year. I know some drop them later than others, but this is pretty late to still be carrying, I thought. The new ones are going to push the old ones off soon....

I have seen bachelor groups in March with headgear, several times.

They were all shed. Every one. I don't think there were any over 1.5 (guess they're almost 2 now! ) There was also a pretty good number of BB's in the photos.
