No it isn't! I think it is obvious to almost everyone that the deer were their first and the people who provided the feed created the problem of too many deer concentrated in a small area.
So it was the deer that bull dozed that road right of way through an endless track of timber allowing more food& browse to grow than the forest could provide.Promoting duel births in an area incapable of supporting a growing population of deer.

Well, you almost have it right. I'll fix it for you....

No it isn't! I think it is obvious to almost everyone that the deer were their first and the people who allowed the deer to reach numbers too high for the habitat then made it worse when they provided the feed andintensified the problem of even more deer concentrated in a small area.

You're welcome!

What evidence do you have that the numbers are too high for the habitat?
The fact is you have no idea what the habitat might be in the surrounding area or if the numbers are too high. Did you miss the young growth along the edge of the right of way. Why isn't it browsed to the ground.?

No evidence at all ,hell 200 deer per acre eating from the hand of a human with a foot of snow on the ground, no evidence at all.

Ray Charles could see the problems in that picture yet the bind robin can't, go figure.

The deer obviously leave when the feeding stops after winter.
Does anyone know how far wintering deer will travel for survival?
Anyone....anyone???

Those deer do not represent the native density.

Well, here we are again. A thread titled "Its a great day in PA" and in 12 pages of conversation, most is cordial, friendly, polite, fun and enjoyable except when a certain two members jumped in.

The same two members who complain about having been banned from other sites.

The same two members who have gotten threads locked recently

Well, to get back on topic, it's another great day in PA! I think I'll take another walk and see if I can come up with some sheds. Think I'll head to camp next week and get the place opened up and see what parts of the place decided to give up and not start, heat, pump, open, close or whatever

Liv says: "I was making a comparison. Wasn't directed at anyone."

You're a liar. You know the sexual reference that was made by the guy with the beard that gets all the threads locked. You thought you'd be a funny guy and bring it up again. Now when called out, like a coward, you make excuses. Typical.

BTB, you cause the trouble on these forums. If you add up all the nonsensical whining posts and insults YOU top the list, and the only ones I add at ALL are the ones in reply to you couple of guys. I dont care if you like my or anyone elses views on deer management or anything else, your disruptive posts are anobvious attempttoprevent ANY reasonable conversation or debate from taking place. The fact you dont like what others say is no excuse to act like a complete ... In a pathetic attempt to end the dialogue.

Ive also not complained about being "banned" from anywhere.Nice attempt to draw the attention off of yourself and your antics which have been pointed out time and again.

Again, I'll point out that this entire thread was friendly and cordial until......

Yeah. Because YOU choose to argue, insult and belittleANY time you see either ofthe "dynamic duo" make a post. You make the choice to do so. Alot of the time, I come back after a day of not posting, only to see personal attacks addressed to me when Im not even friggin posting!!!

I dont care though, and guess as usual I'll be the one to stop in this thread so you dont make it another 12 pages of the same. Other threads going on, pretty smoothly, and might be decent until you decide to ruin those as well.

Exactly where were you attacked on this thread? There was some joking all around but no attacks and not even a cross word till Bluebird and you started that. Maybe you need a little thicker skin there bud.

How is it that a thread entitled "It's a great day in PA" can wind up at the same old crap? I simply see two common ingredients.
