Yeah, we get 4 weeks of open firearms season. I have considered getting into muzzleloaders but came to the conclusion that I am just not patient enough to embark down that road. That would give me an extra 2 weeks. I could also get into bow hunting to extend the season but I would be a danger to myself with archery equipment.

Yotes through the winter,till the snow is gone.Trout till its turkey time.Stripers after the turkey is over.Fall brings Sept bear season,,and then deer opens up.Im not complainin.

Just wrapping up scouting now, got stands marked, lanes trimmed, new areas located, etc. now it' s time to get serious about striper fishing. That' ll last me up to July, then it' s hard core bow practice, sighting in and working up new loads for the guns, loking for decent bucks to hunt, as well as honey do' s until the Sept 1st opener.
