"Big truckload pics like that are unusual even in the best of areas"
Which means they should be rare or non-existent in poor areas like 2G. You can't have it both ways.

To add some perspective the those buck, if 60% of the 2.5+ buck harvested in 2007 were 8 pts, approx. one out of 32 hunters harvested an 8 +pt . 2.5+ buck. So a camp with 30 hunters would be lucky to harvest one ,2.5+ 8 pt. per season. In a poor area like 2G , it might average one 2.5+ 8 pt for every 50-60 hunters.
Like I said, the only response you deserve is.......

Alt may be gone, but his followers still preach for him.

First, it's been agreed over and over that Alt made a misrepresentation way back when AR started.Time to get over it and move on.
Alt wasnt speaking for himself. He was speaking as a rep. of PGC. More than ALt has stated the crock about more and bigger buck and it continues to be pgcs postion even since Alt.

Pgc and the audubon crew simply used Alt as their spokesman. Him being gone now is meaningless. The same treehugger influence and rhetoric is alive and well at Elmerton Avenue.

Well, if that's true, you should have no problem naming the others who said it and producing quotes.

Somehow, I don't expect you'll be able to do that

It was published in the Hunting Digest which speaks for the entire PGC.

Yep, it WAS published in the digest when Alt was running things. Selling AR was his job. What he said was quoted. It was the wrong way to pitch the program. All that has been said. That was then, this is now. Time to get over it and move on. Alt has been gone for 5 years and that erroneous promise went with him. The inability to move on from the past is exactly what you and the other whiners still suffer from.

It was published in the Digest long after Alt had departed. They only changed it for the 2008 Digest.

Alt also preferred and over kill to and under kill and the PGC is continuing that policy.

Was stated by others as well, one of which Rosenberry....Cant remember for sure, butthere was another which MIGHT have been dubrock...Anyway This was discussed awhile back by us on Pa sportsman portal. I dont wish to search the archives or rehunt down the quotes. Ask your friend bowbum/Hermit. He said exactly what you are saying btb, that that was an Alt comment solely. He was made to look extremely foolish when 3 or 4 quotes from others were provided. LOL I can hear him still stuttering months later> (LOL) Im in the middle of a workout and not in the mood to hunt for quotes. I don't lie. But if you choose to disbelieve, Im willing to live with that at the moment too. (LOL);)

You guys piss and moan about anything you can find to piss and moan about. If you want to act like a bunch of old ladies go find a Martha Stewart web site. This confrontational bu11**** is just that. BTBowhunter or what ever you call yourself give up the answer if you know where these were all shot. Just cause they were at Cesna's doesn't mean anything. Fact is you were notpresent when they were shot so you can't tell anyone anything as to where they were taken. Guys stage photos all the time and with Photo shop you can do just about anything to fool the average Joe.

Guess where this nice gang of bucks came from?

Just wanted to note, some of these deer are illegally tagged. (of the tags I see)

Gee RSB, I'd think you'd been chompin at the bit to go fine these guys.

Notice the tags wrapped around the antler? In PA deer must have the tag in the ear, not wrapped around the antler beam.
