I really don't think AR had anything to do with how big that buck got. If you look at the deer in the SW you will see they are way bigger than most of the other state except for the metropolitan areas and where land is posted to protect these deer. Now if that deer was living on SGL or public hunting land, It would never of made it to that size. Guaranteed. Not a factor of AR but of private property or non hunting area buck for sure coming from that area.
