its all new hunters it will bring in archery is complaint i here.

trust me, i see gun hunting from archery to feb in future.[:@]

this will put crossbow, compound, recurve out of business.

in-lines/flintlocks will be reduced to nothing.

some of southern states are already doing this ,GUN HUNTING FROM OCT/FEB,OR USE ANY WEAPON YOU WANT.[:@]

Where are these new hunters going to come from? New young guys? New old guys ?

We're still allowed just one buck, how long can it possibly take for you to kill it?

And I know of no one that has any interest in dragging a Xboy through the woods instead of a compound. I'm speaking of hunters here ,notthe truck riding bands of doe slayers you are surrounded by.

its the SAME hunters that only hunt gun season that you MAY see.

i guess word should not be NEW hunters , it should be gun hunters that will now hunt in archery that did not before because they did not want to practice and think a crossbow is a 50 yd bow that can take deer.

i could be wrong on this too but from the SALES of crossbows i see at gander mountain and by hunters that never archery hunted before,i do see a lot being sold.

i do agree with weight of crossbows, they are heavyand many find that out after they get one, they are not happy on weight.

I have seen a lot of bickering on these internet message boards about which weapons to use at different seasons. I have seen how it tends to divide us as hunters. Sometimes it would seem to make a lot of sense to have one season for everyone. When it is hunting season, you carry the weapon of your choice. This would be fair to everyone. Everyone would have the same conditions and the same oppertunities. We all need to rachet down our egos a bit and be more understandingof each other.
