hahaha way to keep it light bawana...need mora' that around here.
I've losttwo friends in two days, one wasn't a great loss, the other was,he wasa great guy whom will be missed dearly, He died way to young of brain cancer,a slow miserable death.
I hope some you get your heads out of your asses and realize just how good you have it ,yet the constant bitching and whining over a damn deer, fools are you.
If complaining about deer tops your bitch list consider yourself very lucky. And maybe more blessed than you will every know or deserve.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friends and extend my sincere condolences. But why in the world would you use such an event to bash your fellow hunters who are unhappy with the current deer management in PA? My youngest sister died of cancer last March and I would never consider using her death in attempt to silence those that oppose my positions.

Thelosses Jim has experiencedhave nothing to do with wether or not the sportsmen of Pennsylvania have a legitimate gripe over deer herd mismanagement, and those who are passionate about our sport have every right in the world to feel the way they do. I dont see a soul saying that deer management is their only concern or even their biggest...Yet this IS a hunting message board and this IS a thread about Pa deer management. And pgc mismanagement IS the biggest concern sportsmen of Pa have in regards to hunting in the state.

Having said that, We've probably all lost loved ones, and I am very sorry to hear of your losses Jim.

W. Scott Kriner, 55, of Dawn Drive, Meadville, died at home surrounded by his family, Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, following a two-year battle with cancer.

He was born in Titusville, April 6, 1953, a son of William and Betty May Loebelenz Kriner.
He was a 1971 graduate of Titusville High School and a 1976 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, receiving a bachelor of arts in urban management with a minor in geography.
He started his career as an insurance agent in Pittsburgh with Nationwide Insurance before moving to Meadville in 1987 and joining Erie Insurance with the Stainbrook Insurance Agencies. Stainbrook Kriner Insurance Agencies continues today, operated by his son Trevor.
Scott was a devoted father, dearly loved his daughter, Katie, and son, Trevor, and cherished the time spent with them.
He was an avid sports fan, especially University of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh professional teams. He was active with the Community Athletic Project to renovate the high school football complex and the Friendship Through Football exchange with Russia. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Meadville, the Iroquois Club, the Masonic Lodge, the Zem Zem Shrine Temple of Erie, the Crawford County Shrine Club and numerous professional organizations. He served on the board of Community Health Services and the Meadville Medical Center board of incorporators.
Scott also loved fire trucks and he was a member and supported several of the area volunteer fire departments. He was named honorary chief of the Vernon Central Hose Co. and in 2008, he was named Vernon Township Citizen of the Year.
Survivors include a son, Trevor Miles Kriner of Meadville; a daughter, Katie May Kriner of Oil City; his parents, William and Betty May Kriner of Titusville; two sisters, Lisa Whitehill and her husband, Dan, of Clinton, Ohio, and Susan Wakefield and her husband, Alan, of Norco, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Doug I'm sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I'm sure he was a good man as it seems the best are the first to go.
Scott was the kind of man that every man hopes their son grows up to be. He like your father will be truly missed.

sorry to hear that, my mom died of that and i hand fed her for 6 months every day too her death on mothers day.

NOW,we were raised as hunters anddeer are real big to us.

we live and die with our deer hunting even to point of getting divorced over it.some of my friends just lost their jobs over deer hunting.

thats how it is and was.

its like in my bass boat, first rule is,NO MATTER HOW BIG THE BASS,IT GOES BACK IN WATER.

well, i had my cousin in boat, he caught a 7.1 lb largemouth at HILLS CREEK LAKE, he held it up and said, SPROUL THAT ONES GOING ON MY WALL.

well, i never saw a fish go out of someones hand so quick as that fish did when islapped it.

again, sorry for your loss, been there too but when it comes to hunting/fishing its way up there on list of things in our lives .
