I did not see much on here about hunting in Maine. I am from Pennsylvania and I love heading up to the north woods. I have been there twice and enjoyed every minute of it. Hard hunting but it can pay off big time. We have hunted with Mike and Cathy Carver out of Sunrise Ridge Guide Service in Bingham, ME. They were the best hosts. Enough food to feed an army, outstanding lodging and accomodations, and top notch guides. I was lucky enough to take a nice 10 point but in the attached picture is the monster that my buddy took the same morning. If you are looking for a place to hunt up north for deer, bear, or moose I would definitely recommend staying with them. We had a blast. My buck was the biggest one I have ever taken but it was nothing compared to the one in the picture. I think it is nice to give a good review to an outfitter who truly works hard to make your trip fun.

great deer there, hunting in maine is a whole nother kind of hunting, i went last year(2007) didn't get the chance this year(no time after going to ohio)
