We are experienceing some of the same conditions in Eastern Centre county andWestern Union county. Some of that ice will problally remain until April. That is where it doesn't get hit with direct sunshine.

Yesterday, I didn't have the guts to drive very far on the mountain roads without tire chains. We have found it next to impossible to even stand on the northern slopes. That is if you would be able to climb onto them. We were forced to hunt the southern slopes where the ice is about gone. That is where the deer were going to be anyway. They don't want to be on the ice anymore than we do. A week ago, the southern slopes had ice on them also.

never heard they are not,you should see this thing, you throw it and it opens up,then at end of day, you turn it and it snaps back .

it folds down and has straps to carry on your back.size of garbage can lid or smaller about 2 inchs thick.

its about 6 ft high ,has zip windows on all 3 sides and zip door.all camo. i think its made by ameristep co.

no floor in it.

its real neat and easy to carry and set up in a few minutes with the pegs for ground that come with it.

i think it was around 49 dollars
