The example of somenoe with a bobcat tag shooting one in your trap would still be illegal. Yes, they have a tag but you dont. You set the trap and legally, that cat would have to be released if you, the trapper, yourself did not have a bob tag. The odds are good you wouldn't get caught but it would still be ilegal because you would have assisted in the taking of the cat without a permit.

The term fair chase is a subjective thing. In some areas you can pursue deer with dogs. In those areas it's legally fair chase. Likewise, you can bait deer in some states but not in PA. Fair chase is is also defined differently for different species. Thats just the law. You can bait coyotes but not deer. You can trap some animals but others must be hunted.

same with Sunday rules. Crows and yotes can be hunted Sunday, most other species can't.

The bottom line is that there are laws that may not always make sense to everyone but they are still the law. Who knows what the thinking was when it was decided not to allow semi auto riflesfor hunting or trapping. It really doesnt matter. It's the law. The answer is to try and have it changed not to disobey it simply because it doesn't make sense to you

1. I use my deer tags up and then assist in deer drives.
2. I have no doe tags and assist on drives where does get shot.

Above is all legal to do.


You ever catch a bobcat? I caught 9 of them to date.
When you release them,they stay in the area 95% of the time.6 of the 9 I caught didn't move from the catch circle for about 2 minutes. The others i caught ran maybe 5 to 10yrds and sat and watched me for a couple minutes.

That cat once released is no longer in my trap= Legal prey then to anyone who has a BC tag. And where does it say another person who doesn't have a BC tag is not allowed to help another hunter get one?
Are people who don't got BC tags allowed to set up a Ecaller for another hunter and call forthem? Yes they are. So much for someone without a tag not allowed to help assist in someone who does have a tag.

There is way to many laws in this country. And way to many unconstitutional laws. I believe in our constitution,Do you? And do you support unconstitutional laws? Does anyone on here for that matter? The PGC is the biggest violators of our constitutional rights of any organization going that is not paid by the tax payers money. Don't that scare you as a citizen? It should.

All I can say is.... Gee, I don't really know what to say after reading that thread. It does explain a lot but it opens up a whole lot of disturbing questions. Ones I don't think we really want answers for

OMG,I believe in constitutional rights and in GOD. I believe we are free men and people died for these rights to remain free. If you don't charlie,I advise you keep it hush hush in public cause you might just get your arse kicked by an american.

Then who makes these lawless laws if it isn't the PGC. Who says it is illegal to have a loaded gun in the car? I can walk down any road with a loaded gun if I choose to. But this got so far off subject.

As an American I am suprised that you dont have a basic understanding as to how laws are passed. I can tell you this the PGC does not make or pass laws. Time to get out that American History book, it explains how a law is made.
