Default semi auto use

hey i live in PA and i know they dont allow semi autos to hunt small game.
but lets say i took a semi auto 22lr to hunt squarls and i left the clip at home and used it as a single shot, reloading it after every shot, do u think they would allow that??? i mean i would let the game warden check out my stuff to prove i didnt have the clip and was using it as a single shot.

the reason im asking it because i can get a nice semi auto 22 from a friend pretty cheap.

Nice idea to circumvent a stupid regulation...

BUT...I'd almost guarantee that the fish cops would be tickled pink to write you a ticket for it..

Better to stick to a legal firearm...
