Default Mass. Coyote season regs. question.

What is the largest caliber centerfire we can use for Coyote? and what is most popular in our area?

I saw that but ifyou read the exact letter of the text...

(b) during the hours from ½ hour after sunset to ½ hour before sunrise, handguns are restricted to those chambered not larger than .38 caliber, and rifles to those chambered not larger than .22 long rifle;

you see? it reads as though they are referring to night hunting "(b) during the hours from ½ hour after sunset to ½ hour before sunrise,"
I wonder if you can go up tp .223 - 22/250 or largerduring the day ?

Thanks anyway.-Scottie

I believe you can use anything other than a slug during the day.

I'm from NY originally and I'm in Mass because of school and I think the Mass regs are completely incoherent.
