Does anyone know if there is a store within 100 miles of Poughkeepsie, NY that stocks real black powder? I use pyrodex rs for all percussions, but I need 2F black for my flinter. I would much rather drive, than have the powder shipped. Shipping is much too expensive, and my company pays for my gas.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

I am a regular at all the the shops mentioned. No joy. I was told that NY State regs are making it almost impossible for shop in the state to carry black powder. A couple of friends and I are going to send in a combined order, and split the shipping.
Thank you all

I stop running around trying to find BP in N.Y.S.
PA yes no problem but at $4.00 a gallonfor gas just cheaper to ship it.
I try to split 10 pounds with a shooting buddie
hazmat add $20.00 plus 3.95 for internet orders
I think Goex has gone up a little maybe $11.00 a pound
I think fins and fur may still have some powder around from last year; They are up on Rt 17 around Parksville last I heard they were asking $20.00 plus tax
I remember seeing a new renegade they had for sale last year for $249.00

I can launch a loogie into PA.
Buying stuff in PA for me is a win/win/win/win/win/win...
There's a good gun store closer to me in PA than anywhere here "local"inNY, They've almost always got what I want, Their prices are almost always cheaper, gas is cheaper across the state line, sales tax is less, and I can pass by a ton of good fishin' holes on the way home.
I know a guy out your way who does a lot of BPCR stuff, I'll see where he gets his supplies.....
