PA Hunters: Ready for Spring?
#13
I can' t wait! This will be my first season out chasing gobblers in the northeast since my 5 year hiatus to Florida. I' ll be taking out my new 870 on her maiden voyage and trying some new calls.

I am getting pumped up. I gotta get my new MightyMite all set-up and, I am going to attempt to take my first turkey with my bow this year. Geez, it has been 6 years (this spring will be lucky # 7) and I still havn' t got a turkey. I have came close on many occasions, but, just couldn' t finish it off. Well, this year, what am I doing, I am making it as challenging as it can be.
(Not the obvious choice for someone who just wants to get their first turkey). I am going to be using my bow, like I said, plus, my friend and I will be filming each others hunts. It doesn' t get too much tougher than that. Hopefully the bow will be ready to go in about two or three weeks, then, I can shoot that till trout season comes in. Then, just keep shooting my bow and fishing till the big turkey day comes.
