Well, we had a great day last Sunday. We had 10 birds put out, and shot 10. We got 4 roosters, 2 hens and 4 chukars. It was my first upland bird hunt.
My friends dog which is a chocolate lab did great! It was her first "real" hunt and she found all the birds, retrieved them and even grabbed one of the chukars that refused to fly. I guess she got tired of chasing it.
George, the owner of the preserve is a great guy and has a great operation going. It was one of the best hunting experiences I have ever had.
