Most people would not give you directions to their honey holes - no matter what.
If it is farm land that you would like to buy and money is no object - ERA Powell and Associates are the people to call, along with Howard Hanna Real Estate.
Jefferson County has had a couple of bad years of hunting due to antler restrictions and over harvest of does.
You better have $250,000 -$500,000 to spend,if you expect to buy more than 100 acres. There just isn't that big of an area for sale here anymore for less than that due to the fact that the coal and gas rights are worth half the value of the land and you would not want to buy land that did not have it.
The other thing is the fact that you cannot believe what the realator tells you - when it comes to hunting or what is there.
That will take many trips to look at propertys and advice from local people that will tell you the truth.
