I do not know what was going on onchristmas eve but i saw a lot of deer. Seen 20 or so while i was hunting, all in bunches of 5 or more. managed to get 1 big doe.
While on the drive home from mt.airy, i seen at least 70 deer in grass feildsand in peoples yards, most in bunches of 10 or more. I have no idea what was going on this night.

I went in to check my stand christmas night (private land) since I have avoided it the last two weeks and jumped up 10 deer in the 10 minutes I was in the woods. Very weird, last time I hunted this stand I saw nothing. Not one! Have my fingers crossed for Saturday.

They seem to be really bunching up around here. When you see them, they are usually in bigger groups than in the early season.
