MD Rut...Check in sightings.
The rut should be coming up within the next couple of weeks. Let us know what you see.
In Howard Co. near Damascus I've seen some rubs on trees but that's it. It shouldn't happen till the 2nd week in Nov right?

Just about every year it is around the same time. Its just usually the first two or second and third weeks of Novermber when the rut kicks in. I don't think its an exact science, but it tends to be around the same time each year.
I'm not even looking forward to the rut yet... I just FINALLY want some consistent cool/cold weather.

I've been seeing rubs for a month or more and the scrapes started opening up a couple weeks ago when we finally had a few cool days. Now if we can get some decent cool weather without the wind and rain, things will start to really kick in.
