1. Guys getting doe tags in sayzone3 or zone 11 and taking does in other zones.

2. Guys buying up all of the OTC permits, leavingothers dry.

Get your license on line, then you will get first shot. Then apply in your zone. If you don't get one you can get one for another zone on line or go to one of the field offices that sells them. I have heard or read MDFWsay you can get a permit and use it in another zone.

Also you are only allowed one a day. I think that should be turn in seal and then be able to buy another. I think it was like that before. But then they ended up with permits left over and they want the numbers brought down so they went to the one a day.You just have to go and git yerself one. Heck I bought four and used them all, but they were bought over a months time, more than enough time for you to go and buy one. Had a left over buck tag though. I TOOK the time from work in the AM to make sure I had another the first day they went on sale. Did you even go to buy one? Sure I wanted another when I filled the first four cause I still had some room in the freezer but it was late then and they were gone.

Sorry, but you cannot use your antlerlesspermit in any zone!! Thats why they are zone specific!!

I get one every year. I applied and was denied last year for zone 1 and got OK's and paid for one in Zone 3.

Don't get me wrong, I don;t mind guys using multiple permits in areas like zone 11. But I do think one must be used before getting another. I don;t think guys shoudl have 3 or 4 permits before using one. IMO anyway..

I have two weeks vacation, I can't take a day off to wait in line for a permit I might not get. I'd rather use that for hunting time.

Yes, they are zone specific but the want the overall numbers down a bit so they said they said it was ok, but maybe that was just in SE.

Well thats why I said they should have a seal to buy a thirdor fourth permit.

I was talking to the field manager from the Cape yesturday and he thinks the permits are going to be on a turn in basis this year because as a lot of you know they sold out of doe permits for zone 11 last year and only 1/2 of what they wanted were filled. And when they checked into their records almost all the unfilled doe permits were being held by folks with multiple doe tags.

Zone 10 sold out this year. I had two doe tags. I get one online from the drawing and then buy one over the counter when they come out.
Zone 10 is very large and in one area that I hunt the majority of the time I dont want to shoot a doe because there are so few deer one guy estimated 5-6 per square mile, but if you move 25 miles to another area in zone 10 there are like 35 deer per square mile!! However you can not hunt on public land in these towns! So people get the doe tags and shoot all the does up my way when really the areas they want the numbers way down are the places we cant hunt WTF!

Not really. Some of the bucks may disperse some, but the doe groups will stay in the home range.
