Read them both, huh, don't these people have anything better to do? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this school in a somewhat rural area? Is this not a skill that can be applied in the local geographic region? Do these people even live in the same town? Did they even take the time to find out what the curriculum was for the rest of the school year?, or how long these particular stages of biology lasted for? DUHHHHHH

The second article is what gets me....wait until this clown clocks a deer on his way home. And his mention of CWD seems a contradiction. If he is worried about CWD, it seems he should also be worried about deer densities....what a joke.

We should all write letters to the teacher commending him for his curriculum.

Shoot, I've donated deer organs to the biology teacher at the local middle school, too. Most science teachers are happy to get something like that to show their students.

Even more frightening is what looks like a last minute attempt by Rep. Fease of Lycoming County to do away with the Independence of the Fish and Game Commissions and give the anti's a say in future regulations. A good source has reported that he's trying to tack Amendment #6308 onto Senate Bill 1554 and force agency regulations to have Legislative approval.

I doubt it will change any minds but here is what I wrote sent via e-mail to "The Fund for Animals" regarding the Teacher teaching Taxidermy & using organs of wild game:

I believe your opinion on this matter is in the minority. If more kids were involved in the outdoors & hunting this country would be for the better. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a teacher showing students what taxidermy is about or using wild anatomy to teach the students about health & science.
Fight the real battle, kids on the streets, not kids in the woods. One more thing I guarantee the venison from the deer I hunt & eat is way better for you then the processed meat or the vegatables full of pesticides most of us have to consume. If I were an animal I'd much rather live the life of a deer free & wild with a chance to use their natural defense scenses to avoid danger from hunters with just the possibiltiy of getting killed, than a cow fenced in just waiting for certain death. So if you think you know what an animal wants, why don't you try thinking like one, instead of just fighting a cause to make yourself feel better.

Get your kids in the woods & off the streets !!
