My old UPS drive got a brute here in Indiana County, second largest bear in the state, I believe it was 677 or 674 lbs live weight. Great bear for a great guy, other than that I didn't really hear of too many other bears being shot around this area.

I went to Pa for bear season and we saw 3 bears, Well my little brother saw 3 bears. It was a mom with 2cubs. He said the cubs were big but he didnt shoot at them because they were still with their mother. That was monday. We didnt see a bear the other 2 days. It was the first time in 4 years that we didnt get a bear. I was proud of my brother because he is the only one of us who has never shot a bear but he used good judgement and passed up on those 3.
thats a sportsman, that brother..i think if more hunters were arond the little bears ,as i was when growing up,they would never shoot them..or mother..

your brother is like the COMMANCHE indian..they took care of buffalo and in came the buffalo killers and killed off all the baby buffalo..

you and your brother are hunters i want to be around, not these NEW HUNTERS THAT KILL CUBS..

I heard about that. I wasn't sure if it was Don Sr., or Donnie. You've now laid my mind to rest. I haven't seen Donnie for awhile. I'm anxious to talk to him about it. Wonder if he's having it mounted? Gonna need another room on the old homestead............
