I am a computer idiot and will try to get pics on here ,if not they will be at www.mainedeerhunter.com . Fri. nov. 3 at 0945I had got out of work late in the morning so
I eased down the edge of a swamp with the 30.06 . while walking I spotted a Buck headed my way at around 80-90 yards just inside the swamp. I pulled up but couldn't get a shot. I watched and waited and as my luck would have it the Buck beaded right there. Nothing like only being able to see his heavy rack and thats all in the scope. I snuck behind a nearby tree and pulled out the TRUTALKER and gave it a toot! The buck jumped up and looked around then I hit him with a young Buck grunt. He came in all upset to around 40 yards and I hit him with a 165 grain core loktand he folded. 182lbs and 8 wide points. Biologist said the deer was around 4.5-5.5 y/o . He had been rubbing but I dont believe he'd been running the girls too hard because he hadn't lost his butt yet but what a nice southern Maine buck for the wall- and freezer
