Man this is why I dont visit the northeast forum much. So much bickering over the most unusual stuff. JMHO
Where do you spend your time then?

ChuckS
Well I spend most of my time in just about any other hunting net forum. I get on these to learn some things and to help others. Almost all the other ones everyone talks about hunting. Not here everything here is the PGC should do this.... PGC didnt do that..... PGC spent money on this.... PGC says this..... PGC is hiding mountain lions..... PGC doesnt want to work.... PGC wants license increase.... PGC PGC PGC PGC. What I am saying is you dont have to like the PGC or agree with them. But at the same time check out some other regional forums. Not everyones bashing there CO's. Im sure they dont like the things there CO's do but they dont beat it into the ground. Thats just my 2 cents.

Exactly my point in one of the other threads.

A GREAT BIG AMEN TO THAT BULLMOOSE38. I try not to comment ever in those<edit> PGC threads (which abound on here like flies in the barn), but sometimes I have to. Both sides accusers and defenders are like a bunch of little kids. TOTALLY REDICULOUS.

I'm sure if you guys had similar problems in your state, you'd understand.

There's little we can do but complain.

By the way, I think you guys in WV have an excellent progamgoing on.

I've hunted there from 1987 until 2002. Some of the best times of my life.

I'm jealous.

By the way, I wonder if the Feds are the reason you need to supply your SS# to be able to get preference points on bobcat and elk license applications.

Windwalker,

I have some land in Hardy county and you're welcome to come anytime (especially if you bowhunt).

WV has a lot of problems too, especially b/c it is a whore to the agricultural, coal, and textile industries whose pollution runs rampant.

Perhaps it's because I have novested interest in PA hunting, but all these threads that go on for 20 pages over and over get really old.Oh well, probablylittlewe can do about it-just got torant once in a while myself

good hunting

It used to be until last year S.S. # was asked for but didn't have to be given in Pa.
Maybe S.S. cards issued today are different ,but mine that I got 40 years ago says "not to be ussed for identification". When I see people walk into D.O.T. to get drivers licenses with a U.S. Passport that can't speak English with two others that barely do to help that person out I get let's say a bit peeved.
With few exceptions (bank or other financial stuff) I don't give my number out. Do what I have done all these years , just make one up. I haven't had any trouble and would welcome some govt agency to try to take me to court over it.
