got a moose permit
I was picked as an altanate in the may New Hampshire moose drawing. And this friday got a letter telling me a got a permit. It's for central/west NH unit G. Anyone familar with this area that knows where there might be a clear cut or two and could point me in a direction I'd be very thankful

I just moved to that area last year and have seen a few moose while deer hunting. Check out Rt 118 from Canaan north to Dorchester. Be careful of donkeys though. I came up on a couple in the woods last year and thought they were moose for a second. Lots of land and dirt roads off of 118 would be a good place to start. I just started exploring there myself.
