Good 'ol MA gun laws... Gotta love em, eh guys?
Saw another lanky bruin yesterday out by the Pittsfield State Forest. My guess is aroun 175lb or so...
My brother in law saw a sow w/ 2 cubs cross the road in Tyringham 2 days ago.
Some of the best bear hunting around.

After all this Bear talk, i applied for a permit.
Hopefully, they have some left.
I want to give this a try, so i guess i will head out to the berkshires,
and do some homework.
Should be fun!

I'm not going to be able to fit any bear hunting in this years hunting schedual but I have already marked in my calender for next year. I am happy to hear that there is a large population in Fla. Ma as I own some property there and a cabin. I have not seen any bear there tho but I haven't spent much time there in the past 20 years or so. So next year I'll spend a little time at the cabin and poke around a little. Mike
