bump. Cardeer. When people in WV mention Hundred in reference to anything. They are talking about being out in the boondocks. Which means that must be a great place to live if you want to get away from it all...which sounds good to me. good luck. Hopefully someone will anwswer you. I think they have phone lines in Hundred

Yes they have phone lines . It is really isolated compared to most area in the east. 1 hour to a walmart and hospital. I liked it there and property is cheap. Never set foot in the woods ,but seen deer everywhere. The properties i looked at had deer scat all over ,even on the yards patios and driveways. had to watch where I walked.

A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO WE LOOKED AT A PEICE OF LAND BEHIND THE HIGH SCHOOL IT WAS TO CLOSE TO TOWN NOW WERE LOOKING CLOSER TO MOUNDSVILLE IT PUTS ME CLOSER TO SOUTH EAST OHIO GOOD LUCK

Yep I think I seen that place.Home in town limits ,most the timber property not. Did you see that 107 acres on the road the elementry school was on ?? It was being cleaned up. We have looked at alot of property by united country in WV.

Cardeer, I have a place over near Proctor, WV. About 40 air miles from Hundred. My dad lived about about 30 miles east of there in Four States. Lots of hunting land down there and tons apon tons of deer. Like someone said this is in the boondocks and the locals are used to shooting deer any time they please. Ill be down in Proctor next weekend, I can pick up some local newspapers if you want. Let me know.
