As strongly as you claim they don't exist, I can provide at least 6 others that I know personally that will claim that they do BECAUSE THEY SAW THEM WITH THEIR OWN EYES. (Trust me, I belive them all, because they are all either relatives or close family friends with very strong religious convictions.)
You are right - he did not specificaly mention the brother here - however

either relatives or close family friends with very strong religious convictions
could easily beseen to include the brother with the proof. I apologize if neither him or his brother share the families religious convictions therefore making it fine to issue threats.

Best to let this one go - but this is just the opinion of someone from NY. What else need I say.
Best you let it go because if he meant to include all relatives as having strong religious convictions he would not have differentiated the two by "either" and "or" but would have used the words "both of which have ..."
If you want a comprehension lesson, I don't have the energy.

i went to phone and called the PGC. my friend was with me.i told my story of seeingthis lion.i told how close we were to it. i said, it screached when it saw us,it had tail around 2ft long, about 1 and 1/2 inchs round. tail looked real loose like a wip when he was running.when he screached at us, he turned his head real fast. i believe we scared him. he had head REAL SMALL between shoulders. he had GO-TEE that was white. then when he ran off it looked like a ORANGISH MONKEY you would see in africa running.i seen dogs tuck their tail having fun and look this way. that ORANGISH COLOR is what threw me off. thats when i said , WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT. PGC said ,quote, YOU JUST DESCRIBED A MOUNTAIN LION , YOUNG ONE, BUT I DONT BELIEVE THEY EXIST. i said, we will wait for you to get here. he was only 1 hour away. his QUOTE WAS , GROUND IS TO HARD TO TAKE PRINTS. so, its no surprise that it is not verified that mountain lions exist, no one wants to come out and investigate .oh well. trust me, what i saw is nothing you will ever see hunting in woods here in pa. no BOBCAT ever looked like what we saw, no way. 55 years in woods, hunting, fishing, cutting wood, hiking,at all times of year. i even walked today and not a soul around for miles. i am in woods a lot, more than most. take care. p.s ,i am carrying a camcorder now after the hunting season is over. i saw deer today just ripped apart by coyotes. that breaks my heartto see what deer are left killed by these yotes.PGC must do more to get rid of these yotes, a bounty of 50 dollars a yote would be a great help to trappers. where are all these yotes coming from, we never seen one until last 8 years, then they are all over here. i never seen so much yote poo as i saw today.it was all over place.take care.

I apologized for questioning his right to threaten and issue challengesfor a physical confrontation over something this important.:)

I will now apologize to you for me not having your finely honed skills of comprehension, thereby forcing you use energy to attempt to have me understand. I will work on bettering my comprehension skills so that you will no longer have to expand the energy.:)

You guys are STILL at it? Haha, I see we are up to 20 pages of this nonsense, thought Id drop by and see how we are doing. Anyone figure out how to tell how many of these Pennsylvania cougars are actually captive animals that escaped? I just know theres gotta be photo proof by now, but please, dont make me read the last ten pages here! Good luck, and in the meanwhile, Ill keep checking the Pennsylvania Game News for articles of PAers being eaten by lions...monkeycats, huh? Egads.

You know what? This is silly. Arguing like Clinton lawyers, over the interpretation of a members' thoughts put in print on a forum, is nuts. I have no beef with you, nor you with me I assume. Do we agree on this?
Let's just stop. I think that would be best.
The end.

fight4yourguns:

I admitted I passed out a few of the insults on this thread. More than you'll do.
Not only did I admit it but appologized for it. More than you'll do.

"Look, I'll admit I was wrong to openly laugh at you guys. "

"What can I say but that I accept your admonition. "

"You say I have insulted people? Absolutely I have. Those willing to spew conspriacy theory nonsense and then call me closed minded because I expect evidence before I jump on the ML bandwagon have got to expect to be insulted somewhere along the line. "

" O.K. I guess I've been a bit over the top with the insults. I appologize but in slight defense I've taken a few myself."

Guess you missed this stuff!

I also quite clearly and on a couple occasionsoffered to reconcile this little spat and suggessted we put the insults behind us. You guys paid no attention and increased the attacks. As far as I can see, you guys dished it out every bit as much as I did.

maybe he's stirring the pot on purpose
Ya think? I basically came right out early on in this thread and told people I was stirring the pot to show how people out side the hunting world were laughing at us.I included myself in the US. I said it embarrassed me how some hunterswere obsessedwith proving moutain lion exist in the wild here in the east and how the conpiracy theory baloney is just a big joke! And it is!

This thread has lost its original purpose, so after this post I'll move on too. Some gave some proof that they thought would help settle the question for some and it probably has. But some people won't ever be open minded so...Who cares anymore?
I couldn't have said it better myself! Thank you! I'm out too.

Well then I guess I missed that quote where you said that. I would have stopped posting then if I'd known you were just playing games. Imagine instead of making a few friends here you actually made a few people not like you very much. You probably don't care about that though since you openly admit to "stirring the pot" and basically intentionally pi$$ing people off. Thats pretty grown up! Hopefully you will not have to get in the last word on this subject like I think you will, but maybe I'll see again in another post ....so long, I'm outa here

Sorry SteveBNy....
----------------------------

You just have to get one last little dig in don't you Fight4yourguns? Well the way I see it,

You said I didn't admit to insulting people...
You were clearly wrong.

I appologized...
You didn't

I offered to put it behind us...
You refused

And then you end with an insult. Would you say that is a "grown up" attitude?

Well one thing positive happened here as far as I'm concerened. With nearly 5000 hits on this thread, alot of people got to see just how stupid these ML threadscan beandhopefully, it will be a long time before anybody starts another one!

bye...
