First, let me state this is not a p!ssing match of any sort on if a state has them. Don't let it turn into that.
If you want to reply, give your opinion, but don't try to bring it back to the old "we have mtn lions, here's the proof." Or vice versa.
IF your state could have a thriving, healthy population (meaning healthy in biology terms, thriving as in acceptable populations, not rampant or exceeding the capacity of the land)...
Would you want them?
My answer:
I would. I'd think it'd be exciting, and would add another aspect to the wilds of NY.
I'd be concerned with biological impact, but I don't think it would be too harsh.

I wouldn't want them in Pa, In my opinion I don't want to end up Like Calofornia were the hippies pi*s and moan about regulating them, then next thing you know a kid gets eatin!!
Also If I know any are around, even 1 or two, I don't feel like worrying about whats in the tree I'm about to climb in the dark!!!

I agree Livbucks, however what I think would happen is that they would put them in Northern Pa and then Good ol Philly folk would have the say of how their managed.

You know, Brad, in all the states Ive walked in that DO have lions, Ive managed to stay out of the inside of a lion. So, I really dont worry too much, as I also doubt thered be too many. I personally would find it exciting to know they were there naturally. I guess I vote "yes".
